The Smith's Story

Being diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and undergoing aggressive treatments—chemotherapy and radiation—took a lot out of me. I was focusing all my energy on this fight, and I wasn’t able to work or support my family.  

I have a close friend who works for Suffolk, and I can’t tell you how much it meant to us when the Giving Circle took care of our mortgage and medical expenses. It lifted a huge burden at just the right time.  

It’s amazing to know there are groups like this that can come together and help families in such impactful ways.
