Stephen was born prematurely at 25 weeks, weighting just 13 ounces and suffering from a brain bleed.  His parents were told that he had a 50/50 chance of survival.

Because he was unable to cough on his own, mucus was building up in his trachea, causing an extremely dangerous situation for this little guy.

Suffolk stepped in to purchase the suction machine necessary to keep his airway clear.  Thanks in part to the efforts of The Giving Circle, Stephen was able to enjoy this past Christmas at home with his family and is doing great today!
