Esperanza Rivera, mother of Suffolk employee Wilber Rivera, received heartbreaking news on February 5: after beating breast cancer in November 2014, she was diagnosed with secondary breast cancer in her bone and is now undergoing intense chemotherapy.

 

The Giving Circle quickly mobilized and was able to provide a generous donation which allowed her pay the costly medical expenses.

 

“I would not have been able to move forward as quickly and positively as I have without this help from The Giving Circle,” notes a grateful Rivera.
